Training Planner / Administrator

My client based near Newark (NG22) wishes to recruit a Training Planner / Administrator for their busy team. This is a longer term temporary training administration role that requires the following:

Experience Required:

•Competent in the use of desktop packages such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Access with a high standard of keyboard and numeracy skills

•Ability to collate, manipulate and analyse data to support decision making

•Preferred knowledge of relevant technical systems, e.g. SAP

•Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using telephone and electronic correspondence

•Proven ability to work accurately whilst still meeting deadlines.

•Competent in providing guidance and instruction to others as required.

•Previous experience within a training planning and administration function is preferred

•Previous experience working with Procedures and Processes

Skills Required

•Ability to work in a fast paced/high volume environment

•Excellent attention to detail

•Ability to communicate at all levels relating to minor finance queries

•Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision

Qualifications Required:

Good standard of general education.

Key Tasks:

•Schedule training with external and internal training providers in line with customer requirements and resource availability

•Coordinate and administer training programme in line with business / customer requirements

•Liaison with business planning / resource management functions

•Assist in the booking of training venues and resources

•Process training bookings using standard event management systems

•Process training correspondence

•Update L&D systems with a focus on excellent data quality

•Update learner certifications

•Process training invoices

•Suggest improvements to measures, processes and controls, embracing our philosophy of continuous improvement

•Liaise with customers via telephone and electronic systems

•Provide support to colleagues in times of peak workload, sickness or holiday.

•Contribute to the provision of an excellent Learning & Development service to the company with an emphasis on quality customer service

•Collate & utilise statistical and management information through the use of existing computing facilities to assist in the planning and forecasting to support Learning & Development objectives

•Resolve enquiries from both internal and external parties, providing a written, face to face or telephone response as appropriate.

•Provide admin support and assistance in an efficient & effective manner

•Actively demonstrate and promote the company values.
