As a chemical engineer by training you will provide specialist technical advice to a variety of leading edge and strategically important projects for this high profile, global engineering company.

Now what we need from you as the Chemical Engineer - Power Generation:

? A qualified Chemical Engineer - preferably Chartered though candidates with plenty of relevant experience would also be considered.

? Strong experience of innovative design concepts that provide client solutions and a track record of appropriate publications.

? Strong designing and project management skill sets applied to the design and build of CHP and energy from waste plants - more than 5 years is essential.

? Proven experience of ensuring projects run to time and budget as well as deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

? You will know the value of establishing high technical and performance standards and will have opportunities to mentor other engineers to achieve these same standards.

? A continual focus on maintaining a thorough working knowledge of leading edge process technologies and equipment advances; integrating them into projects whenever appropriate.

? Experience in a contracting environment would be highly advantageous.

This role is based primarily in the north east of England and has some travel associated with the role but it is not a regular feature of it. The hours of work would make it possible for you to live outside this area but work here during the week. However, relocation expenses would be made available for appropriate candidates to allow them to enjoy the flexible hours even more by living closer to the office.
