In simple terms we are trying to introduce our company to a broader audience.
We have had several very successful years and simply haven't had to do much
marketing and certainly have never used this direct approach before.
However, a difficult economic climate, mixed with our strong desire to
continue our growth, means this is a sensible addition to our existing
marketing approaches.
The scratch cards offer prices for our service between 10% and 17.5%
of the starting salary for any role placed with us during 2009.
Whatever the amount you reveal on the scratch card is also valid for
additional roles of the same type placed with us as long as they are
placed at the same time.
We also commit to working persistently until you see candidates that
are of genuine interest to you. We have reserved the right to
graciously say no to taking on your project but we wouldn't do
that unreasonably. We are really keen to start working in
partnership with you so it wouldn't be in our interests to avoid
projects unless for very good reasons.
It doesn't matter if it is good times or bad, everyone needs a good
reason to use a different supplier. We can tell you about the
quality of our work; our professionally qualified consultants
and our satisfied clients (see our website case studies). However,
you cannot really know how good we are until you actually use us and
everyone needs an incentive. The incentive we chose to use in
these harder times is price.
With our in-house and associate consultants we have a large amount of
experience across all levels within organisations up to, and
including, Managing Director across most sectors of business. We
work well searching for managers, directors and specialist technical
resources both in the UK and overseas. When we assign a Project
Consultant and Researcher to your project we aim to select those who
have very relevant (and hopefully very recent) experience of
searching for the same skills you now need.
We tend to find that we get the difficult to fill roles and although
it's nice to get our fair share of easy projects we find the hard
ones so much more satisfying!
We set the minimum threshold of £35k salary for this promotion
because you wouldn't normally use a targeted search methodology for
roles more junior than this. However, we normally operate best with
roles earning significantly higher than this and provide a
full service which can include psychometric evaluation (personality
/ competency assessment etc) as a normal part of the service.
For a very simple reason - when other companies make people redundant
they lay off the workers they do not regard as their best. These
better workers, already made nervous by redundancies, tend not to
take risks such as moving job. For you to get the best of what's
available not what's on the market, you need a proactive approach
more now than in the good times. Having professional consultants
like us positively selling your vacancy gets the best candidates
interested and keeps them engaged throughout the process.
Just for a bit of fun really. And because there is the opportunity
for you to save your company significant amounts of money simply by
scratching off a panel. With each panel offering a different level
of saving, the question is how much you save. The offer prices are
between 10% and 17% of the starting salary for a full executive
search in the UK. We can complete searches overseas though not all
countries are yet 'search friendly' so we do not recommend this
approach for all countries.
We use a blended approach to recruitment and very much believe that
the fee structure for the work should be a reflection of the effort
required to complete that recruitment project. If we can
successfully use one of our simpler methods we will pass on an
additional saving directly to you. In keeping with our philosophy
that our fees should be proportionate to the effort needed to
satisfy our client's needs, we will pass on a further 3% saving if
one of these simpler methods delivers the results you need.
However, we tend to get the difficult to fill roles and normally
expect that we will start a full proactive targeted search process
to help you find that ideal candidate. And for a full explanation of

in-depth teleconference call to ensure we take a comprehensive role,
person and competency specification.
Because we give our personal guarantee that we will stick doggedly to
getting the result you need long after the vast majority of our
competitors would take the commercial decision to stop working on
your project. That's because they are sales orientated and not
results orientated. They make a commercial decision to work on a
project for a limited period of time. Typically this is for no more
than two weeks. If it looks like they won't quickly get a fee, they
move on to the next 'sale'.
